Good luck with the ART-13.
It's a great working transmitter. The power supply for it is the
DY-17/ART-13 dynamotor, and ART-13 connectors are sold by:
William Perry Co.
702 Beechwood Road
Louisville, KY 40207
502-893-8724
The PA plate voltage is 1000 VDC and the low voltage distributed into the
system is 400 VDC. The 24 VDC is the supply for the tuning motors, relays
and filaments. Of course, the whole system is normally powered from a 24 VDC
source, as the dynamotor is a 24 VDC input unit.
For non-authentic operation (i.e.: homebuilt AC supply) you can refer to
Electric Radio Magazine for an AC supply construction article for the ART-13
(I think there is an error in the schematics, I'm not sure whether it was
corrected in a later issue...). The now defunct Ham Radio Magazine also had
a few articles regarding the ART-13 supply.
In case you need a copy of the ART-13 maintenance manual, it is at:
http://hereford.ampr.org/manuals/art-13/art-13.html .
Have fun!

The ART-13 that I acquired is missing the bottom cover plate.
Also does anyone know of an article on building a power supply for this
unit. Where does one obtain the connectors?
This unit will be on display at the Collins Radio Center.
The CRA will be attending the Butler Hamfest on June 1 at the Roe Airport in
Bulter, PA We will be displaying the new 270G-2 speaker and other Advanced
Optics Ltd. Collins reproduction items. The CRA is also a distributor for
FR Radio Products. Send us your needs and we will try to track down the part
for your Collins, etc.
Thank you.
