Sure you can.....just call that new DX station on 14.025 and forget to
"zero" the transmitter.  You are transmitting on 14.075 and wondering why
you can't break the pile-up........
I did that a few times and then put a 455kc crystal in the 32S-3.

Many CW stations use very sharp filters, if you are calling a 1/2 kc off,
chances are your not gonna work'im
