[Collins] 30l1 relay -HELP

First unhook the control cable to be sure its not the exciter doing the
keying. The 30L1 keying can overstress the exciter amp keying transistor
and cause it to short. If unhooking the cable has no effect, then you
need to trace the circuit with a voltmeter. The capacitor with the
lowest voltage on it will be the shorted one. And its conceivable that
the problem might be a tube with a grid to filament short, because the
same wire that keys the relay also shorts out the PA tube blocking bias.
