Many thanks to those who replied to my query on harness lacing on my
75A-1, you guys (and gals?) really exceeded my expectation on this one!
I received not only suggestions of where to buy it, but multiple offers
from generous hams offering to send a length my way.
I managed to come across an old military publication describing lacing
techniques, if there is enough interest I will scan and post it on my
website http://home.maine.rr.com/bhowes
Bottom line:
Seems to be sold now in 500 yard rolls
Mouser, and the other major supply houses sell
.085 seems to be the correct size
As Dave pointed out the original type was flat rather than round
Has a waxy surface to allow the cable to be tied readily and not slip
Cordially,
Bruce
