[Collins] Stagger tuning advice please

Hi Group,

Happy new year!

I have a 51J4 and soon, an R-388 and I have heard they can be made to have
better fidelity by stagger tuning the IF cans. Are there any published
procedures for doing this? I haven't been able to find anything in the
archives. I have bypassed the mech. filters in the J4 but still want wider
audio. I have an IFR1500 to use for the tune up procedure.
