The Manufacturer on the CURRENT BALLEST TUBES is AMPERITE.

For the KWS-1:

  3TF4   4.3 to 8.3 volts  .28 to .32 amps.

  3TF4A  5.6 to 8.4 volts  .27 to .3  amps.

I don't know the number of the one used in the R-390(A) receiver.
Without the model number I could not get specs on it.

They still manufacture them.  BALLEST TUBES ARE NOT ON WEB SITE!

They also manufacture the TIME DELAY RELAY used in the KWS-1.

or ALLIED.     Cost is about $100.00 ea.

As to the KWS-1 high voltage fuses  HVB-1   2500V at 1A.

I looked on their web site.  www.bussman.com got their
phone # and called them and got a list of distrubitors in
my area, Okla. City.  These are electrical distributors not
electronic.
I called 2 of them, neither of which had ever heard of the fuse.
both found it in their catalogue and called back. One of them
said they could get them if I could wait a couple of weeks and
they were $10.00 ea.
The other one could order them in a week and they were $5.50 ea.
I ordered 4 of them at the $5.50 price.
Both told me the Bussman had 80 of them in stock at the time
last week.
