My experience is that the old paper and oil capacitors are ALL leaky.
Once you extract them from the radio to check the leakage on a test set
up with adequate sensitivity, their leads will be a bit short for
reinstalling, and only a tiny fraction will pass my leakage test.
REPLACE THEM ALL. Its more productive and saves having to do the
diagnosis in ten years. AGC and coupling capacitors are a whole lot more
picky about leakage than most any ohmmeter check. Just replace them all,
save the testing time.

Set the crystal circuit C by the frequency. By now the crystals will
have drifted some. They were ground and plated to work with 32 pf within
some tolerance, probably .005%. The trimmers were included to correct
that tolerance. If there's only one oscillator trimmer then you have to
accept the compromise, or add a few pf to the crystal sockets where the
frequency is high. Or find more crystals and select them to match as
close as you desire and your budget for acquiring crystals will allow.
