[Collins] Caps. Paper or Plastic which is better?

Hi Group,

It's time to start recapping the 51J4 and R-388 and I want to replace all
the .1uF and .01uF caps. I have read in many posts that lots of people
recommend "orange drops", which of course work well but are awfully bright.
Would there be any real reasons why a good 'ol ceramic disc wouldn't work in
there? It's a little more authentic looking and the dielectric is stable. I
just like the look of them better (plus I have bags of 'em).

Any other recommendations are welcome also.

The other caps which I may change are the .1 600VDC oil filled types, I
think C205 is one such that I found leaky. It has 3 sections in it. Any
reason not to use ceramics there? Again, any recommendations are welcome.

The soldering iron will be hot this weekend. Thanks!

cheers!
