I believe the 70E-8A PTO in the 310C has a 160m output.
It is doubled in the 6AG7 (V101) tuned buffer.

VFO/exciter, and wouldn't mind sharing them?
Also, sometime ago there was a question posted regarding a mod that
allows the VFO to be used for 160 meter operation. Something along the
lines of adding a buffer amp circuit...? Can anyone can shed some light
on this, or even details (schematic maybe?) on how it is connected,
etc..?
(Sorry about the cross-post, but my question would be verbatim on both
anyway...)
