Reluctantly, decided to part with the last of a long line of Collins
components. I have a near mint 75A4 #1243 with the large vernier spinner
knob and three (3) 0.5, 3.1, and the 6kHz (Vector) plug in mechanical
filters. The unit, other than two small paint chips on the left side
edge and one on the top edge, the enclosure is flawless. The unit was
upgraded by Howard Mills W3HM. The original invoice with the
comprehensive listing of the work completed, hand drawn schematic
changes, along with my cost for the service ($462) is available. The
interior is impressively bright and shiny and was always in a nonsmoking
environment. Included is a multicolor high quality manual reprint
provided by Howard Mills. I'd like to determine two things:
        1. a fair market value

        2. finding someone local for a sale and pickup (NE Pennsylvania,
New YorkCity area)

I would like to hear from anyone familiar with pricing for this collector
quality piece of gear. Thanks, Ron W2CQM New York City
