Hi all,
I just joined this reflector because I finally got my "dream" receiver, a
75A4. Its in great shape, probably a 9.8 out of a 10 cosmetically but I
think it needs a little work. It overloads very easily on fairly strong
signals. I have to use the rf gain to reduce the signal to get rid of the
distortion. I have read the info concerning the "7 deadly caps" and plan on
replacing them very soon. Before I replace them I want to see if one of
them is the problem in the first place. The radio is serial # 2579. I run
AM most of the time and some SSB also.
Anyway.................if anyone has any advice I would appreciate it. All
comments are welcome.
Thanks in advance,

Bill Russell
