You need to make sure which 15 meter coverage your
receiver was designed for. Some 75A4 receivers cover
20.5 MHz to 21.5 MHz and the other versions cover 20.8
MHz to 21.8 MHz. You have to look at your dial. If
the dial covers 20.8 MHz to 21.8 MHz, then you need
the 23.3 MHz crystal. If it covers 20.5 MHz to 21.5
MHz, then you need the 23.0 MHz crystal.

If I remember correctly, the earlier versions covered
20.8 to 21.8 MHz. My manual for July 1956 for the
75A4 covers the receiver for 20.8 MHz whereas my later
manual states 20.5 MHz. My particular 75A4 (s/n 2535)
has the 20.5 MHz range.

The 15 meter crystal in my 75A4 was bad and I got a
new one in about 3 days from International Crystal in
Oklahoma City.

Checked the 15M crystal Y5 and it is stamped 23.3 Mhz.
The manual says it should be 23.0 Mhz, so previous
owner may have incorrectly installed a crystal here,
or the existing crystal is bad.

Question 1: Should the 15M crystal be 23.0 or 23.3
Mhz? Question 2: Does anyone have a replacement I
can buy (23.0 Mhz probably)?
