[Collins] vfo/ osc connecting cables

50 ohm single shielded cable has worked for 40 some odd years, mostly
RG-58C/U. 58C/U has a stranded center conductor. Don't buy it at Radio
Shack, theirs has too little shield. I suppose you could us RG-141/U,
the same thing with teflon insulation and silver plated wire, or RG-142,
teflon, silver plated and double shielded, or RG-223, tinned, and double
shielded. The but RG-58C/U is the only one that has the desirable
flexible center conductor.
