Originally there was a segment from 5 to 6.5 MHZ that was described by
Collins as unsuitable with the S-line and KWM-2(A) because of spurious
signals. With the rumors of 60 meters I thought that I could use my
S-line and KWM-2A but then remembered the 'forbidden' frequencies. Then
I remembered a SIL (service information letter) that addressed those
frequencies. It took me a while to find it but SIL 2-75 retracted that
taboo in part. 5 to 5.7 MHZ was allowed as was other frequencies in the
range. See your CRA archives. I'm sure this bulletin is buried there
somewhere.

Now if only R.L. Drake did the same thing for a C-line!!!
