For Sale: Collins 75A3(A)
I have, surplus to my needs,  a Collins 75A3(A) receiver that Howard
Mills restored for me.  It is in excellent condition, both electrically
and mechanically.  Howard did a complete restoration on this receiver
including his normal disassemble and cleaning. He installed a product
detector, removed the PTO and lubricated it, set the end points, and
reinstalled it.  Howard installed the improved AVC mod and the applicable
Collins mods.  He also replaced the low voltage and bias filter caps. 
The receiver was completely aligned per the manual.  In addition, the
front panel was stripped, painted  and silk-screened.  The cabinet was
also stripped and painted (using the original powder coat process).
This 75A3(A) has the original Collins retrofit for mechanical filters  --
 hence the designation 75A3(A)  -- and comes with the original Collins
mechanical filter Type No. F455B-31 (3.1kc) and an R-C network for AM
reception.  The receiver does not have the optional Collins 100kc
calibrator, but does have a home-brew calibrator plugged into the
calibrator socket.
