Randy,

I like "Trim Black" (Duplicolor and other brands) that is available from auto 
parts stores.  It is designed for use on exterior automotive aluminum and 
stainless steel trim (without primer).  I have used it with and without zinc 
oxide primer, both with good results.  4 or 5+ coats gives good durability, 
especially with high use knobs like tuning, band change, and AF/RF gain.  It 
dries to the touch very quickly.  Nice high quality product.
