[Collins] 51S-1 Problem.

OK gang here is the latest on the 51S-1 blowing fuses.
When I bring it up slow on a variac it works OK but if I 
bring it up fast "BANG"???? Blows the main fuse (F1).
Disconnected the, 01 by-pass caps and still the same problem???
The power cord and outlet are OK the problem seems to be in the
radio, I am starting to think the power transformer may be bad 
so I am looking for one if anyone has a parts rig with a good power 
transformer please let me know.
I will post the final answer.
