OK here is the latest, after many e-mails suggesting a problem with the
power cord I took it apart and checked it out, power cord is new and wired
correct however when I plug it in to the 51S-1 the short comes back???
Another item I have 7 ohm's between pin's 2 & 10 on the power transformer
but they are shorted together in the power plug so I am not sure that's a
problem, any ideas there???
Checking all pins to ground @ 100 Meg are "0" except 7&8 and they are ground
and very low ohm's (Looks correct).
This radio was working fine the last time it was on and all of a sudden this
pop's up???
History:
The radio is very clean and has not been worked on that I can tell and has
always worked fine, I have a new power cord and it checks out OK, the last
time I used it (a few months ago) it was working great, I was rearranging
things in the new shack and moved the 51S-1 and when I plugged it in "BANG"
blew the main fuse but the radio was OFF, replaced the fuse again with the
rig OFF and again the fuse blew so that is where I am now still checking
things around the power supply but everything looks fine by the schematic.
Please keep the suggestions coming and I will post the results when I find
the problem.

Thanks & 73's Dutch
