If you want to see a transitional model, visit the Collins Radio Center.
Very common to see these transitional models in some ham shacks.  The
Collins Radio Company, at times, proved itself to be very cost conscious as
in the case of these overlays.  My thanks, to Dr. Jerry and Rod for giving
all of us a bit of research on these transitional models.

Nothing too excited to get concerned about.  Just a good conversational
piece that was addressed in the Collins Journal many years ago when this
subject came up.
