The A4 covers more of 10 meters without added crystals than the M2(A).
The M2A has more crystal sockets but not enough to cover all of 10m.
The M2 transmits though with quite a lot of offset for normal CW ears.
The mixers in the A4 tend to be noisier than those in the M2 which is
not a significant concern at lower HF frequencies.
The A4 is at least twice the size of the M2 but has its power supply
included.
