[Collins] probe body

Metal 35 mm film can? Metal cigar case? Most scope probe cases are very
specialized, and hard to adapt. I once used 1/2" copper water pipe for
the probe case, then used probably 3/8" caps soldered inside to close
the ends. I may have turned a plug for the cable end, and mounted a
probe tip in the other end. Then I mounted adapters like coax connectors
in 1/2" copper water pipe couplers after I split them part way with a
fine tooth hacksaw so the sides could be sprung in to give a little
tension... I still have that probe set, might make a picture of the
components if you need it.
