[Collins] trim ring

Ives, and other ....

I would take the cabinet and trim ring to Home Depot or Lowes to see if they
can come up with a suitable match. The only problem that I see is getting
their scanner to accept the metal work. It may be difficult to get a piece
of the metal work on their machine. Worth a try.

Keep one thing in mind and that is that the S-Line cabinets are not a high
gloss paint. I would recommend a semi-gloss which you can always shine to a
very nice finish using any brand of automotive polish/wax product.

I have repainted these cabinets using a spray gun and the results are superb
if you have a dust free area to paint. Again, if you get the correct paint
match and have the cabinet and trim ring ready to paint. Take it to a local
paint shop and for a few bucks get a professional job.

Spray cans are hit or miss in my opinion. I have had at times good results
and at other times, a very disappointing paint finish due to the spray
nozzle spitting paint, etc.

Again, most of us all weekend painters who are decent painters when it
comes to painting siding, etc, but when it comes to metal refinishing, I
would rather trust the pros.
