Hi All,

We are currently involved in support of Weld County Office of Emergency
Management and American Red Cross. Last night we had two shelters opened
and one of those is now closed and on standby. We have the afternoon shift
covered but NEED volunteers for the overnight tonight. Additionally we need
someone for the standby shelter.

The Shelter is in Keenesburg, I-76 and north of HWY 52 and the EOC is
located in Greeley at 11th and H St.

Please respond on email, call or via the radio.

Current operational frequency is 146.565, and acting as a resource frequency
as well. Email is w0avv at hotmail.com and the phone number is 970.266.1120.

4WD is in most cases indicated, as you have seen I am sure, weather
conditions can change very quickly and road plows are having a tough time
keeping up. We do not want to discriminate, but we need to make sure people
can arrive and get home safely to the locations.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

Randy, W0AVV
