HI Guys and Gals,

Got a call from the Office of Emergency Management in Weld County. He asked
if we could place our folks on standby for the pending snow emergency. The
National Weather Service has upgraded the Winter Storm Watch to a WINTER
STORM WARNING. We prefer to deploy folks to the locations in 4wd vehicles,
but if you do not have one, we will be happy to make sure you get where we
are going in terms of deployment locations and back.

I am encouraging folks to charge batteries, have power supplies and antennas
and radios ready to go. Go bags with your 72 hour kits are needed if you are
deployed.

We may get you there, but may be delayed in getting you back home depending
on the intensity of the storms. This system has a history already of moving
then stalling, moving then stalling. If it stalls here. it could delay safe
transportation of you to or from a shelter center or an EOC.

If you have interest and are willing to be deployed, I need three people
per shift, minimum to start. This may go thru Saturday, so Please let me
know. My email is w0avv at hotmail.com My phone is 970.266.1120. It will
forward to my cell. I will also after the meeting tomorrow be active n
145.115 repeater. We will attempt to localize repeater use in the areas that
are affected.

Thanks and please let me know ASAP if you are available. We had NO takers on
the net tonight.

Thanks

Randy, W0AVV
