The Amateur Radio Emergency Service District 10 information net will be held
Wednesday night (March 31) AT 9:00 pm LOCAL ON THE 145.115 MHz (Horsetooth)
Repeater.

All stations are welcome to check in. Membership or affiliation with any
club or organization is not required, merely an interest in emergency
communications or activities affecting the amateur community in the local
area.

I would like to thank all the members who have helped me fill the net
control positions during the last two years. It was much appreciated

STORM WATCHERS AND CHASERS! Check out nationalgeographic.com/magazine/0404

Some great pictures and sound clips from an actual tornado chase. They very
nearly wound up inside an F4 tornado, and managed to put two instrumented
devices and one camera stack into the funnel.

The full written article can be found in the APRIL 2004 issue of National
Geographic (also with great pictures)
