That's true Chris and I didn't indicate that difference in my previous
e-mail, but have seen it too with other stations not on the list as an AEC.
I think it has more to do with the script not always being clear to people
not paying attention... One of my issues I guess... Using myself as an
example might not have been my best choice. It does happen here and on other
nets... so am guessing its not just related to my being in a second spot on
the net script.

Randy,

One reason you might get asked about traffic a second time
is because it is in the script!

There is a section in there which says the NCS is to
ask all the assistant EC's if they have any traffic
or comments.  I believe your name is on the list.

So the NCS was just doing his job.

(When I'm NCS I usually skip that part.  What the heck,
Bob says NCS gets to play god.)
