Just a reminder that next Sunday, 2/8/04 is the next regular test
session for NVIS antenna testing. I understand that several people are
not able to make Sunday mornings due to previous commitments so would
anyone like to set up another day/time to try out their antennas?
Chris in Estes Park is now on the Sunday morning HF net on 3.928 Mhz.
and it would be nice to see a LARGE contingent from D-10 as (somewhat)
regular participants (with the understanding from the previous paragraph).
http://home.earthlink.net/~w0ipl/nvis.htm will give those without NVIS
knowledge an idea of what is going on with that type of antenna and
http://home.earthlink.net/~w0ipl/NVISprop.htm has some NVIS propagation
information. I always thought it was always open - no so. Last Sunday it
didn't open on 75M until after 06:00 Local and the maps reflected that.
If you need or want some help with NVIS - AskAnElmer or at least speak up.

Was it one hundred hours of experience or one hour repeated one hundred
times?
