[CoARES-D10] Weather Traiining

Severe weather training is scheduled for May 3, 2003. This is a Saturday
class.

Bob Glancy of NWS and Brent Shaw, KB0URX will be our primary presenters. I
will be following up with things that are specific to  D-10 as opposed to
other SKYWARN groups.  We plan that everyone should be out no later than
4:30 and sooner if we can.  If you have attended before you know how packed
the day is presentation is as a rule.

We ask that if you are going to be spotting  in D-10 that you participate in
training at least every two years.

Time:        8:30
Location:  Weld County Service Center
On the east frontage road north of the intersection of Hwy 119 and I-25
1.)   Travel southbound to exit 240  go to bottom of the ramp and turn left.
2.)  Travel east about 300 yards , just past the traffic signal on the east
side of the overpass. You will see a �Wendy�s� on the north side of the
roadway. Turn Left at that fast food restaurant.
3.)  That is the frontage road. You will pass a hotel, and a US Homes
building on the east side of the road.  You will only travel up about � mile
up that road and you will see a pond with a building at the east end of it..
Turn right on the road just south of the pond and go to the east end of the
pond and turn left or north

Cost:         $20.00 covers the cost of lunch ( Pizza and sodas) and the
manuals.

Registration:    Please call me and let me know (leaving a message) who you
are and how many there will be in your group. Or E-mail me and let me know
the same information. If you can�t come, don�t do a reservation�. We need to
know exactly how many manuals to print. Payment will be accepted at the
door.

Limitations�   1.) Limited seating to the first 100 confirmed reservations
                        2.) Limited to hams and their families.
