Jeff... Just one more thing... If addition of any iron cores to filter
interference are required, stranded wire is much easier to work with in that
situation as well...  Given alternators and on board computers in new cars
that is a serious consideration.

What is recommended power cord for the Anderson Power Pole connectors?
I was able to pick up a bag of 30A connectors at the Hamfest on
Saturday.  Western Mountain Radio who sells the RigRunner power bar for
power pole connectors sells 10AWG & 12AWG zip cord.  Wouldn't solid wire
be a better conductor, or does it matter for shorter lengths?  Zip cord
is certainly more user friendly, but don't want to turn the zip cord
into a heating element, either.
