There are several problems I can see with gutter antennas.  The first is
to make sure that your gutters are actually made from metal!  If you own
your own home (a freestander) you can easily check this out and also
perform the necessary bonding.  Of course if you own the property you
can also probably come up with a wire antenna design that will work!

If you do not own your own home, or live in a townhouse you may run into
a problem bonding the gutters together  If you live in a multi-story
unit and are not up at the top, you have even more difficult problems to
overcome!


And there is the matter of a feedline!  Where do you hide the coax?

In short, consider all possibilities before you jump!
