The Force 12 Sigma 5 is small and needs no radials . The DX-77 vertical needs no radials or just a few short ones and works well.

You have plenty of room for a push up pole and a yagi so dont rule it out. A roof mount and a mast would work easily and you would
not just make do but have a serious antenna. That would hold a three to five element beam with some guys.

house, and the roof is only 12 X 25 if even that. I have the local kids every once in awhile climbing up on the roof, so a wire is
out of the question. I want to get back into HF, but there is no sence in me buying a rig if I can't put some sort of antenna up. I
was thinking along the lines of a butternut, or cushcraft but there is no room for the ground plane kits.I would like to build my if
I could, here in canada I'm looking at over 500 bucks to buy one of these antennas. Anyone got any ideas for my situtation? Please
