[Cliffdwellers] RE: help with restricted space

Thanks for reading this message. I live in the top part of a house and have access to the roof . The house is a semi-detached house, and the roof is only 12 X 25 if even that. I have the local kids every once in awhile climbing up on the roof, so a wire is out of the question. I want to get back into HF, but there is no sence in me buying a rig if I can't put some sort of antenna up. I was thinking along the lines of a butternut, or cushcraft but there is no room for the ground plane kits.I would like to build my if I could, here in canada I'm looking at over 500 bucks to buy one of these antennas.
