You're probably referring the Clegg Climaster 62 T10 which covered 6, 2,
and 10/11 meters. Physically, it bore no resemblance to the later Clegg
"Climaster" Zeus. Ed eventually dropped the "Climaster" tag.
Both of my Clegg Zeus transmitters also have PTT. However, I never
noticed the actual PTT wiring/circuitry omission from the schematics. I'm
also not that ambitious to open up the RF Unit and the power
supply/modulator to see how they did it.
