I have an "a" and a "b" Interceptor. The "A" uses a 7360 mixer
tube; the "B" does not. I think I remember that the crystal pair
operate on different frequencies between the "A" and "B" models.
HOWEVER I've noticed that the various "A" models I've had didn't all
have the same crystal pair either. There are some differences in the
front panel controls but I haven't had my "A" model on recently
enough to remember what they are.
