Thought I'd blow the cobwebs out of the Clegg list....

I've been restoring two Venus six meter transceivers and wonder if 
anyone here has any knowledge of a mod to the receiver to add a second 
nuvistor RF amp.   It was done so well I didn't realize at first it was 
a mod, but it really makes the receiver HOT!    Any other comments would 
be welcome, what a nicely engineered piece of gear the Venus is!
