[Clegg] Mode switch problems

I was in error earlier when I made my comment about the switch problem
I had. It was actually on the Zeus, and at least in my case, the
switch was seized. Someone had glommed onto it with a pair of vice
grips or pliers and cracked the ceramic wafer as a result. I oiled the
shaft and let it sit, even applied heat in hopes of it breaking free.
No joy. Other than an incorrect tuning knob, that's the only thing
wrong with my 'parts unit' Zeus. Even has the power supply/modulator,
and should probably find a new home.
Sounds like you've been having some fun on the high bands, Pete. If
time permits this weekend, I may get something up in the air for 2,
and get the 6m dipole hung back up. It's nothing great, but at least
I'd be able to jump in when conditions are good. I actually have a 2m
yagi that is taken apart in two pieces, that should be easy to get
back up in the air.
Might be able to work you someday soon?
