Clegg FM-27 B, 2 meter FM transceiver

This was Clegg's early synthesized (or maybe
"semi-synthesized" would be better) 2 meter FM
transceiver.  It covers 146 and 147 MHz segments
of the band.  About 25 watts output.

This particular unit looks very, very nice.  Almost
like new.  In fact it is still in the Styrofoam shipping
container.  There is a problem with it however. 
Part of the time, it is basically dead.  Wiggling wires
and pushing on the circuit board sometimes gets it
to come to life for a short period of time.  It may 
just need some cleaning, or some solder connections
touched up.  I don't have the time to mess with it.
