Good idea. I will try that technique. Sounds like the best way to get it
right. I know for sure all 3 screws will need to be tightened the same.
Thanks-Bob

I cannot tell you what that value is, but it is not that tight from what I remember. I had to use an extension shaft and a small knob, spinning the PTO while fine tuning those screws. You don't want it too tight because it seems to make zero beating difficult. Once you have it the rig performs very well and is not stressful at all to bring on freq.

But, until I put it back in the radio, it does feel very stiff. I did put it together with some Lithium grease and yes it does make it easier to keep all of the bearing intact. Now, Im onto the PTO rebuild which is almost complete.

> Hi, I did this and there is a trick to it. I had to use a long spare shaft to hold the parts together while doing this. You will want to do this in a large bowl as it will come apart and bearings will fall out constantly. I also recommend some grease as it will help hold bearings in place.

I cleaned it all up and greased the bearings and have tried to put it back together. Im sure I have it assembled correctly but am having issues getting the spring steel plate screwed back on. So, of course Im doubting whether I am putting it back together correctly. Instead of getting into details as they would be too lengthy for an email, Im wondering if anyone has a schematic of the assembly of this unit, has done one and can give me pointers, or possibly send pictures of one you have done as a guide? Anything would be helpful.
