Hi agn Tom

Got to further thinking and you didn't say how much power you were looking
for. If you want 100+ watts the poosibilities greatly expand, such as the
807, or 1625 or the 6146. All have been well documented in amplifier
articles in past publications and are very easy to build up with reasonably
priced components. W6CHR is from down south and uses a 10B driving 4 6AG7s
in grounded grid as a very simple amp and gets 100+ watts out of it. He uses
it as his daily rig with a homebrew receiver. He has a great antenna on 80
meters and can be heard most evening around 3995. Look at his rig on
QRZ.com.

Subject: [Central-Electronics] 160 meter operation

I am thinking about building a 160m linear for my CE-20 and was wondering if
anyone has suggestions as such. My CE-20 puts out almost 20 watts stock. Any
current crop of linear amps capable of 160 able to be driven by only 20
watts?

Thank You
