My earlier question about drifting osciallators was answered by Nick Tusa who
sent me a copy of the modification for old 100V's like mine for temperature
compensating capacitors. In the early 100V's, the crystal oscillator coils
were disc ceramics. In later ones, they were temperature compensating dogbone
caps.
Now I'm looking for the capacitors. Surplus Sales of Nebraska no longer has
many of the ones that their last paper catalog lists. Do any of you know of
another source?
Here are tha caps called for in the 3/28/62 Central Electronics Temperature
Compensation Kit
10 meters 5 mmF N2200 or N3300 (use N3300 if N2200 isn't sufficient)
15 meters 10 mmF N1500
20 meters 11 mmF N1500
40 meters 50 mmF N470
80 meters 47 mmF N750
