Gentlemen,

Thanks to all that responded so far, really nice to have this kind of 
support!

I have discovered that there is more than one band dead now, I still 
have 40, 80, and 10... So I suspect the xtal oscillator tube for sure 
now, the selector switch wouldn't do that on the other bands also.. I 
will get the tube tester out first, may be that simple....

Will advise as so as I get to it...
