Sorry for duplication of any information relayed from this email. Sent to multiple sites in hopes that I don't miss anyone.

State and local emergencies declared. Local Government is closed tomorrow. Partial activation of EOC at 0800 Monday, DES Staffing only at this time. No evacuations have been ordered. Shelter will open at the Community Services Building on Route 6 at 0800 Monday. CSS, CART and EMS providing initial staffing. Multiple agencies on standby awaiting further guidance. No amateur radio activations by Local EM Director at this time. Additional updates to follow as received.

** While I expect most of you are planning to stay locally, there maybe requests received from other jurisdictions closer to the coast. If you are available to deploy and assist in areas on the eastern shore, please let me know. Amateurs will need to have already taken the ICS-100 and 700 Courses, have a working knowledge of the ICS-213 General Message Form, have a 45-50 Watt VHF rig with power supply, antenna and transmission line. Any class license will suffice. Plan to be self supporting for an extended period.*****

Again, please check your deployment kits/resources to be ready to go.

73,
