[CC-ARES-RACES] ARES/RACES Monthly Meeting

To all:  The monthly ARES/RACES meeting for September 2003 has been =
cancelled.  You and your families may still need the time to pick up the =
pieces after hurricane isabel. It was a great showing by all of you when =
we activated . Many thanks to W3TOM, KA3VNF, AA3WS, N2OMC, K3GRG, AA3RT, =
N3YRZ, KB3FQE, KB3HNP and anyone else that was available to staff our =
EOC's that were activated throughout the county.

Communications was effectively maintained between the Emergency Manager =
and all established shelters. We even provided local storm updates from =
various locations throughout the county, during the critical time =
periods. Everything that the EOC asked for, we were able to provide it. =
When phone service and power were interrupted at various locations, we =
were there, on the scene, and filled the void.

Many thanks to all of you. Once again you saw the need and responded. =
What a great group of trained ARES/RACES Team members.
