[CC-ARES-RACES] ARES/RACES Meeting

To all ARES/RACES team members:

	Our scheduled monthly meeting for May 2003 is cancelled. The Community =
Services Division of the Charles County Government now occupy the rooms =
we had planned to use for our meeting on Wed 5/28/03. If you remember, =
they were burned out of their facility on Route 6 recently. As more =
permanent facilities are made ready for them, they are temporarily =
located at the Charles County Government Building and other =
locations.Please use this time to make ready for the Cobb Island and =
Field Day activities that are coming up on June 7, 28 & 29, 2003. We =
will get together and practice our packet communications in the near =
future.

	Congratulations to Tom Abernethy W3TOM for winning the election for MDC =
Section Manager. I know he is all about business and we can expect an =
action packed two more years in the section. We can all be proud that a =
member of our team, and the President of the Charles County Amateur =
Radio Club, holds such a prestigious position within the ARRL =
leadership. Be sure to pitch in and provide participation and support =
where it is needed.
