[CC-ARES-RACES] Field Day 2003

It is here.  Come one and Come all.  Sharon and I visited the site today
and the grass is already cut.  The porta potti is already in place. And
the weather forecast has improved tremendously.  What more could we ask?

I arranged with Charles Hallock (AA3WS) for three desktop PCs, with one
planned for our Meet and Greet table.  Charles has volunteered to wear
the hat of the CCARC Hospitality Ambassador. His charms are well placed.

I have an 8:00am meeting in White Plains tomorrow, then I must drive to
Upper Marlboro to care for essential business.  As the Field Day site
grass is already cut, that will save me another trip home for the
tractor, to La Plata, back home again and finally to the Field.  So, we
are shooting for a noon arrival, as originally planned.

Plan on some weather activity on Friday afternoon, to include atmosphere
cleansing via thunderstorms.  But then all looks much improved after
that.  Granted, the weather folks can barely tell you what is happening
right now, let alone an hour from now.  So let us all hope for the best.
