Many thanks to the amateurs who were able to attend the COMMEX last =
night. They were Lee Flick N3YWZ, Bill Palmer KE3RE, Gary Gertz K3GRG, =
Jesse Barton  KC8ERP, Tom Abernethy W3TOM (HF Liaison to the MEPN) and =
myself.  Equipment checks was the purpose for this COMMEX. We were able =
to communicate with MEMA via the regular CRN repeater and a few other =
jurisdictions using a selected simplex frequency. MEMA was driving the =
evenings exercise. More to follow when available.

Remember to mark your calendars for October 5, 2002 so you can =
participate in the Simulated Emergency Test (SET).  I would like to =
operate from as many of the critical locations as we can.
