All,

If you have the time prior to the net, put FLDIGI on your computer (if it's not already installed). Available at http://www.w1hkj.com/ (it's the s/w in the first row). Once installed, click on the Configuration tab, click on Config Dialog and select your computer microphone as the input.

During the net, I'll send some text using MT63-2000L and/or MT63-1000L (selected by clicking on the Op Mode tab at the top of FLDIGI and going down to MT63-2000L or MT63-1000L). By holding your computer's microphone close to your transceiver's speaker, you should be able to decode and see the sent text. Often you don't even have to hold the microphone close...just turn up the radio's volume a bit and keep the background noise in the room low.

Of course, if you already have FLDIGI installed and interfaced through a sound card, you're all set.

Yes, MT63 does work through a voice repeater. But what I don't know is if it works through a linked repeater, so folks on the K3CAL 440 side can ran that test for us
