Jim Montgomery, MDC ARES Section Emergency Coordinator, has released the 2015 MDC Section SET Plan ( https://ares.k3cal.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/2015-MDC-Section-SET-Plan-02.pdf ) . The Simulated Emergency Test (SET) is scheduled for Saturday, October 3rd and will run from 09:00 to 15:00 and I encourage everyone to review the plan and put the event on your calendar now.

This year's SET will involve obtaining flooding information and utilizing APRS and Winlink 2000 ( http://www.winlink.org )  to relay water height and flooding information back to a centralized location.

This page will be updated with additional information.
