Read email below concerning quarterly meeting and picnic for SKYWARN.

 

If you are thinking about attending please notify Chris beforehand since
this a Government installation that requires permission to enter.
Generally, these SKYWARN meetings are held for SKYWARN personnel heading the
various areas in the NWS Sterling jurisdiction and EC & AEC's.  Since there
is no SKYWARN person acting as our focal point in Calvert County then just
say you are that person.  Hopefully, we can get SKYWARN back to being useful
to all again.

Hello All,

First of all, I would like to say thank you for being a part of our 
SKYWARN amateur radio community! This is a reminder that our annual 
SKYWARN appreciation picnic is next Sat the 21st. The picnic starts at 
noon. While there will be some food and drinks there, feel free to bring 
anything you'd like of either.

Also, if you'd like to attend the quarterly meeting of the SKYWARN 
leadership, the meeting is just before the picnic from 11am to noon. 
Please be prompt so that we may start the meeting at 11am and get out in 
time for the picnic.

Looking forward to seeing you here at NWS Baltimore/Washington. Our

We are 4 miles west of the Rt 606 and Rt 28 intersection along Rt 606 
(Old Ox Rd). Use the intercom box to gain access at the gate, and park 
in front. Our office is the building right under the tall radar tower on 
the northwest end of the grassy field campus. Park in front. If you
