Hello All,

A few seats remain open for BaCo's' Emergency Communicator I course,
scheduled for 0830 on September 14th , 2013. Registration will close on
September 12, 2013 or when all seats are filled.  This is an open class with
no prerequisites.

Course Description:
Providing backup and supplemental communications to government agencies.
hospitals and affiliated agencies is more than simply using a radio. The
Emergency Communicator I class will provide the attendee with a basic
understanding of:

- Emergency Communications
- Essential Knowledge & Skills to Complete the Mission
- Role of the Emergency Communicator
- Available Technologies
- Protocols, Polices and Procedures
- Basic Net Operations

This training class, which will be held in Towson or Forest Hill, is a
requirement for all who volunteer to provide backup/supplemental
communications support to Baltimore County, county hospitals, Region III
ACS, affiliated agencies and surrounding counties via BaCo Mutual Aid
Agreements. 

Please do not register if you have previously taken this class and hold a
completion certificate. All others may register for the class by

the event calendar is displayed click on the Emergency Communicator I entry
than scroll down and click on Register for Emergency Communicator I.
